Working Location: Flexible — based on business needs. Intern may choose to be primarily based at either Kayan Tropika Petaling Street or Kayan Tropika KLGCC Mall. Some weekend work may be required, especially during peak seasons, campaigns, or special occasions.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our florist business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, being active on social media, interacting with customers, and keeping up with TikTok and social media trends.

You will be involved in the day-to-day management of our social media platforms, with a strong focus on content creation, customer engagement, TikTok, and social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

• Create engaging photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Take photos and videos of bouquets, floral arrangements, products, stores, and behind-the-scenes activities.
• Create short-form videos such as Reels and TikToks.
• Assist in planning and developing creative content ideas.
• Edit videos and photos using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or other suitable editing apps.
• Keep up with current TikTok, Instagram, and social media trends and identify opportunities to adapt them for the brand.
• Develop content around seasonal occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations.

2. Social Media Management

• Manage daily social media posting and content scheduling.
• Write captions and prepare suitable hashtags.
• Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and customer interactions.
• Reply to customer enquiries through Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp, or other relevant platforms.
• Escalate important customer enquiries or complaints to the management team when necessary.
• Help maintain a consistent and attractive brand image
